Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable Driver and Appliance Installer to operate a 26 ft box truck, delivering and installing appliances for residential and commercial customers. This role blends driving, physical work, and basic technical install tasks to ensure safe, on-time service.

You will load and install appliances, connect water and electrical components, and use mobile devices to confirm deliveries while upholding safety and quality standards. Prior box-truck experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Able to lift 100+ lbs with proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with for-hire endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local, multi-stop deliveries.
• Load, deliver and install appliances (washers, dryers, fridges, dishwashers, ranges).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle installations, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

What You Bring

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
