Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable Driver and Appliance Installer to join our team. The role involves operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances for residential and commercial customers.

You will perform installations, ensure safety, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining accurate records and following company policies. Prior delivery or installation experience is preferred, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. with proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Clean driving record; able to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver’s License with current for-hire endorsement.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools; basic plumbing/electrical a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.
