Job summary

Temco Logistics is expanding in San Diego and seeking drivers/installers to deliver and install appliances for local routes. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, load and unload appliances, and connect basic lines and electrical components while ensuring safety and accuracy of records.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to pass background and DOT checks; prior box truck experience is preferred but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Able to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.

What You Bring:

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
