Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable Driver and Appliance Installer to join our team in Roanoke, VA. Operate a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install appliances, while ensuring safety and quality service for residential and commercial customers.

The role combines driving, installation, and customer service with practical hands-on work. Training is provided; a valid CDL-for-hire endorsement and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle installations, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.
