PROAMPAC is seeking a full-time Quality Technician to test materials and finished products across multiple stages of production to ensure they conform to all applicable regulations, customer specifications, internal specifications, laws, and company standards.

The role requires in-process inspection, calibration of QA equipment, documentation, sampling, and quarantining of non-conforming material, and the ability to work with quality testing equipment on site in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics
• Two to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
• Experience using QA/test equipment and quality processes

We are looking for a full-time, Quality Technician who is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by testing materials and finished products across multiple stages of production to ensure they conform to all applicable regulations, customer specifications, internal specifications, laws and company standards.

Compensation for this role is $21.60 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, Food Packaging Safety and other requirements.
• Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined.
• Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience:

• Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics.
• Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:

• Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment, strongly preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook
• Experience in Flexible packaging and/or printing, converting equipment a plus.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Soft Skills:

• Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
