Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Technician Production Operation in Hialeah, FL for an on-site role. You will manufacture products per batch records and ensure quality by following SOPs, GLP, GMP and QSR requirements.

Candidate must have a HS diploma or Associate degree in science, strong English communication, and the ability to lift 50 lb and stand 6–7 hours. Remote work options and bonus eligibility are described in the posting.

• Excellent verball and written communication; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand 6–7 hours daily.
• Experience in filling operations, torque application for vials, and kitting.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products per Manufacturing Batch Records using SOPs.
• Maintain records according to GLP, GMP, and QSRs.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Perform indirect labor tasks including inventory counting, material transactions, process verifications and troubleshooting.

The Technician Production Operation is responsible for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for manufacturing products per Manufacturing Batch Records (Paper and/or electronic) using various system and equipment Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintaining accurate records of work performed according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Quality System Regulations (QSRs). Schedule and perform Preventive Maintenance of equipment. Perform Indirect Labor tasks such as Inventory counting, Material transactions, process verifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions.

This position reports to the Reagents Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Reagents Manufacturing Department located in Beckman Coulter, Hialeah FL and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

You will be a part of the Reagents Department and report to the Reagent Manufacturing Supervisor responsible for ensuring that quality products are manufactured safely and delivered on time to customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED with experience in a manufacturing environment; or must have an associate degree in Science.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficient in English- reading and speaking). Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance and stand 6 to 7 hours a day. Work overtime when necessary.
• Experience working in a filling operation for sub-assemblies, torque application for vials, and kitting operation for finished goods.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience working in an FDA regulated environment laboratory, and using aseptic techniques

Basic troubleshooting skills to identify minor issues with machinery and ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Proficient in Excel is a MUST, Microsoft Word, and general Microsoft software.
