Summary

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the incumbent assists in the operational functions of the Hard Rock Entertainment Department, including setup and teardown of events, fabrication, assembly, and disassembly of equipment, scenery, wardrobes, instruments, and tools necessary for professional shows and performances. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure it functions properly.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: (These functions are illustrative and not all inclusive)

• Creates an engaging atmosphere to encourage guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Rockford for gaming entertainment; actively builds and retains guest relations; mentors team members to provide superior guest service.
• Follow policies and procedures related to the entertainment department for efficient operations.
• Assist in implementing event operating plans for Hard Rock Live.
• Assemble and disassemble trusses, scenery, drops, curtains, and related equipment.
• Set up stages and related lighting and sound components.
• Load in and load out equipment, instruments, wardrobe, and tools for performances.
• Maintain and repair lighting, sound, and fly systems, drops, soft goods, stage, and musical instruments to prevent delays or cancellations.
• Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service, notifying managers of concerns.
• Reinforce company values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to Illinois Gaming Board Regulations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or trade school certificate plus at least three years of experience in event/concert production or a combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements: Obtain necessary licenses/certifications, pass background checks, be 21+, and be available for holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong communication, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to deal tactfully with customers and staff.
