Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the pharmacist's supervision, prioritizing and processing medication orders, preparing medications for dispensing, and assisting with stocking for patient care locations.

You will handle sterile products, participate in inventory management, use automation and equipment, and support education and training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience as required by job.
• State Board of Pharmacy registration required in the state where work is performed.
• Technician training program/academy is preferred.

Job Summary

Works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care services, while considering patient specific factors, through the prioritization and processing of medication orders, the preparing of medications for dispensing, distribution and stocking of patient care locations for subsequent drug administration. Performs other duties as assigned.
