Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is seeking a hands-on industrial laborer for high-pressure water blasting, sandblasting, and plasma cutting. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package and a team-oriented environment focused on sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience around heavy equipment.
• High pressure water blasting and sandblasting experience.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background screening prior to starting.
• Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• High-pressure water blasting and sandblasting.
• Carbon arc, plasma cutting.
• Requires the ability to properly wear, use, and maintain PPE.
• Uniforms and all PPE provided.
• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• May be exposed to physical activities and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by site superintendent or management.

Responsible for safely and efficiently completing tasks and duties associated with industrial shop labor such as high-pressure water blasting, sandblasting and plasma cutting.

Job Responsibilities

• High-pressure water blasting and sandblasting
• Carbon arc, plasma cutting.
• Requires the ability to properly wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Uniforms and all PPE provided.
• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hand tools, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by site superintendent, or management.
