Orange County Convention Center is operated by Orange County Government in Orlando, FL. This on-call Facility Maintenance role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, flooring and masonry duties, supporting the center’s operations during events.
Ideal candidates will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays to meet show activity needs.

If you have general experience in building, apartment complex, or facility maintenance, than, we want you to join us as an on‑call maintenance apprentice and work side‑by‑side our full time staff to help us maintain our facilities in top operational conditions. If you are currently going to school for air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmith, roofing, flooring, in one of the many excellent technical colleges throughout Orange County, Central Florida, or anywhere in the states, this is a prime opportunity to gain that much needed work experience to get on‑job hands‑on‑training and make you more competitive in your specialized technical field. We own and possess unique equipment not available anywhere in Central Florida. Whether you are an experienced and licensed technician looking for additional hours and income or new to the field and interested in learning and growing in the expanding trades industry at a nationally recognized facility, the Orange County Convention Center has a variety of shifts and days available.
