Job Summary
The Field Forklift Technician/Mechanic will efficiently perform quality repairs on all classes of forklifts and industrial equipment. The successful technician will project a positive, supportive, and professional image to all of the dealership's customers, fellow associates, and management while practicing safe work habits.
- Ensure proper maintenance and repair is performed on assigned vehicles
- Diagnose breakdowns and obtain technical and parts information to repair industrial equipment
- Project a positive image by interacting courteously with employees, customers, and management
- Participate in ongoing Toyota training through company-sponsored programs
- Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission, and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are an indispensable partner to customers, vendors, and associates.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safety
Educational/Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; vocational training preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 2 years of mechanical experience
- Proficient with computer/tablet skills
