Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a manufacturing/production support specialist to assist engineering and production by resolving issues, prepping systems, materials, and components for use at various stages of the production process. You will set up, test, calibrate machinery and perform QA according to guidelines.

Responsibilities include lifting support, chemical etching, laser part marking, and ensuring procedures meet tolerances; travel up to 5% may be required. U.S.

Qualifications

• 2-3 manufacturing experience.
• Familiar with multiple types of part marking.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Familiar with Laser part mark machines.
• Programming experience a plus.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you will Provide tactical and technical support to Engineering/Production/Manufacturing by resolving production issues, preparing systems, equipment, materials, and components for use at various stages during the production process. Sets up, tests, and calibrates machinery, sets up and conducts tasks, and performs quality assurance according to engineering guidelines. Processes raw materials for use in production and performs quality control checks to ensure that established standards are met. Tests for functionality and adherence to established tolerances, and makes adjustments or repairs as needed. Provides status, maintains records and documentation.
