Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications and assist in creating Baysheets.
• Design parts, processes, jigs, and contribute to special projects.
• Perform part nesting on the Amada Laser and Jet-Edge waterjet as needed.
• Provide engineering support by quickly identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are buildable and clear for internal teams.
• Track long-lead items like materials and coatings.
• Manage material inventory, including tracking, ordering, and forecasting usage.
• Assist with installing and using a bar-coding system for parts.
• Identify safety hazards and address them promptly.

Qualifications

• Understanding of fabrication processes from engineering release to delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues quickly.
• Experience designing parts, processes, and jigs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement.
