Job description

Manufacturing Technician – Collagen (3rd Shift)

Location: Exton, PA

Sunday – Friday, 10:00PM – 6:30AM (you will train on the 1st shift initially, Monday–Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM).

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will maintain an organized workflow and ensure appropriate system transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner, assuring dsm‑firmenich products are of consistent and high quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing designated operations within the manufacturing department, in non‑controlled and controlled environment areas in accordance with dsm‑firmenich Standard Operation Procedures and all safety requirements as assigned.
• Load/unload ovens and freeze dryers; cut and weigh collagen.
• Handle chemicals and solvents as required.
• Provide basic support to outside departments as required.
• Provide suggestions on potential improvement opportunities in quality, product, processes, and efficiency.
• Address simple and recognizable problems, applying established alternative approaches to find solutions.
• Work with R&D, Engineering and other DSM groups as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two‑year technical degree preferred.
• 1–5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a related industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to provide information by telephone, in writing, email, or in person.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to participate in multifunctional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $23.00 + $5.00 higher‑shift differential for 3rd shift. Additional compensation may include a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and a broad range of other benefits.
