Job summary

MODERN AVIATION INC is seeking a hands-on Line Service Technician to deliver safe, efficient aircraft ground handling and outstanding customer service to aircraft owners, guests and flight crews. This role is operational and needs a proactive, positive attitude on the ramp.

You will fuel, tow, park, de-ice, and service aircraft, operate ramp equipment, and maintain safety during busy operations. High school diploma, 18+, open availability, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Open availability as schedules vary, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft types and servicing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft ground handling including fueling, towing, parking, de-icing, placement, and basic cleaning.
  • Operate a wide range of ground support equipment in accordance with procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain ramp awareness, monitor aircraft movements, prevent FOD, and adapt to changing weather.
  • Deliver Modern Aviation’s exceptional service by assisting passengers and flight crews with professionalism and care.
  • Greet customers with a high energy, positive attitude and willingness to exceed expectations.
  • Anticipate customer needs, offer additional services, and represent Modern Aviation professionally.
  • Communicate clearly during aircraft movements and active operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Shift Leads or Line Management.

The Line Service Technician (LST) is responsible for providing safe, efficient aircraft ground handling services while delivering exceptional customer service to aircraft owners, guests, and flight crews.
