Position Overview

TEAM is seeking an experienced, technically capable, and safety-focused Leak Repair Technician to lead and perform various repairs and work scopes within the service level qualification assigned.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
  • Responsible for assessing leaking component(s) and reporting findings to supervisory personnel and engineering.
  • The primary role is responsible for executing and leading leak repair operations in accordance with technician certification and company processes and procedures, achieving or exceeding quality expectations. This may include the following techniques and tasks:
    • Drill and tap
    • Wire and band
    • Clamp and enclosure installation
    • Measuring components
    • Stand‑by operations
    • Inspections of components
    • Evaluation of performance on repair activities
  • Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and continually improve skills and knowledge.
  • Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
  • Document all service activities as required.
Physical And Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells, except when performing non-field duties.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, to investigate.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform routine office duties.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.
Work Conditions
  • Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection.
  • May be at more than one job site in a day and must tolerate climate changes.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
Job Qualifications
