Position Overview: TEAM is seeking an experienced, technically capable, and safety-focused Leak Repair Technician to lead and perform various repairs and work scopes within the service level qualification assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
  • Responsible for assessing leaking component(s) and reporting findings to supervisory personnel and engineering.
  • Execute and lead leak repair operations in accordance with technician certification following company processes and procedures, achieving or exceeding quality expectations. Repair techniques may include:
    • Drill and tap
    • Wire and band
    • Clamp and enclosure installation
    • Measuring components
    • Stand-by operations
    • Inspections of components
    • Evaluation of performance on repair activities
  • Attend and complete required training to maintain competence and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
  • Document all service activities as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Mobility to maneuver in a standard refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells when in the field.
  • Clear speech and hearing for effective communication.
  • Adequate vision or other observational powers to perform job duties.
  • Manual dexterity to perform routine office duties.
  • Physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations as needed.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.

Work Conditions:

  • Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Wearing safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • Ability to tolerate climate changes and be at more than one job site in a day.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical school, industry or relevant training preferred.
  • One or more years of experience preferred.
  • Driving license, TWIC Card preferred.
