Position Overview

TEAM is seeking an experienced, technically capable, and safety-focused Leak Repair Technician to lead and perform various repairs and work scopes within the service level qualification assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
• Responsible for assessing leaking component(s) and reporting findings to supervisory personnel and engineering.
• The primary role is responsible for executing and leading leak repair operations in accordance with the technician certification following company processes and procedures, achieving or exceeding quality expectations for the performance of leak repair operations. Techniques and tasks may include:
• Drill and tap
• Wire and band
• Clamp and enclosure installation
• Measuring components
• Stand‑by operations
• Inspections of components
• Evaluation of performance on repair activities
• Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Document all service activities as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells when performing field duties.
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively.
• Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform investigations.
• Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform routine office duties.
• Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform office duties and travel to off‑site locations.
• Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.

Work Conditions

• Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
• Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
• Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection.
• May be at more than one job site in a day and must tolerate climate changes.
• May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school, industry or relevant training preferred.
• One or more years of experience preferred.
• Driving license, TWIC Card preferred.

Additional Job Description

Anticipated compensation for this role is $45,760 per year plus benefits.

Note: Disclosure as required by HB3129 of the pay range for this role when being hired into our locations in Illinois. TEAM reserves the right to pay more or less than the pasted range. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and geography.
