Job summary

Temco Logistics is expanding and seeking drivers to operate a 26 ft box truck for local delivery routes, load and install appliances, and ensure safety standards are followed. The role emphasizes customer service and reliability for homeowners, builders, and clients.

Applicants should be 21+, able to lift 100+ lbs, pass background checks and DOT physical, with a clean driving record. Training is provided and internal growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles is preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical is a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.

What You Bring:

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
