Key Accountabilities

• Implements airplane modifications per engineering drawings to support instrumentation installation, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of instrumentation systems, including sensors and data acquisition systems.
• Uses test instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and voltage/resistance reference standards.
• Performs sensor calibrations and maintains records.
• Diagnoses and repairs defective components using technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrates expertise in wiring practices, modifications, and terminations.
• Performs pre‑ and post‑flight checks of the aircraft data acquisition system.
• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently, complying with company policies and safety standards.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized.
• Must be able to travel as required up to 50%.

Qualifications, Experience, And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft wiring installation, repair, and instrumentation.
• A&P or related certification highly desirable; may be required for certain roles.
• Strong communication and computer proficiency; familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Flexible with schedules and overtime; capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks.
• Solid understanding of aircraft systems.

Working Conditions

• Lifts, pushes, or moves up to 50 lbs.
• Works indoors/outdoors in varying conditions; stands for up to 10 hours and climbs ladders.
• Performs tasks in confined spaces or awkward positions.
