Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Technician I to perform the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations under direct supervision. You will install, assemble, modify, calibrate, and repair wiring harnesses and components, following engineering data and schematics.

The role requires 0-2 years of related experience, the ability to obtain a security clearance, and compliance with FOD training.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information, and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
• Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
• Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
• Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
