Summary

The Information Systems Technician role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in‑house information systems through monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of networked software and operating systems. The role applies communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues, maximizing the benefit of IT system investments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
• Maintain an accurate helpdesk record of all calls, emails, and tickets.
• Perform application troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common application problems.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
• Upgrade workstation hardware and software components as instructed.
• Provide users with hardware and software technical support.
• Spending time with system users, listening empathetically to concerns and providing prompt, courteous responses.
• Respond to users' questions regarding access to network resources.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Follow the official policy for Good Manufacturing Practices as required in the Medical Device Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
• Provide feedback and proactive communication to supervisor, management, and co‑workers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Contribute input to management based on process knowledge to support improvement efforts.
• Provide support to other departments and manufacturing as requested by the immediate supervisor.
• Process administrative matters to maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
