Description

We are seeking a pharmacy Technician-in-Training to join our team! This is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in starting a career in pharmacy. No prior experience is required, as we will provide training and support every step of the way.

Required

As a Technician-in-Training, you will begin employment with us while completing the steps required by the State of Montana to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This includes:

  • Provisional License: Upon hire, you will be responsible to apply for a Provisional Certified Pharmacy Technician License through the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
  • Training Program: While working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will complete a structured training course designed to prepare you for certification paid for by 406 Rx, PLLC.
  • Certification Exam: After training, you will be eligible to complete the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) or other approved exam to obtain full certification/licensure.

Employees who successfully complete and receive their certification within a specified number of months may be eligible for a bonus!

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.

  • Manage inventory and restock medications as needed.

  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.
  • Process all sales transactions with operation of cash register.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate pharmacy staff for prescription-related or OTC inquiries.
