Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist to conduct sampling in ISO-cleanroom environments, calibrate EM instrumentation, and support qualification and validation activities. You will maintain documentation and ensure inspection readiness across quality systems.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; regulatory compliance and precise record-keeping are essential to ensure program efficacy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring sampling - including air, surface, personnel, and water - across ISO-classified cleanroom environments
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate EM instrumentation, ensuring equipment is inspection-ready through consistent preventative maintenance practices
• Support cleanroom qualification, requalification, and process validation activities in alignment with regulatory and quality standards
• Execute all work in strict accordance with established SOPs, work instructions, and procedural requirements
• Contribute to audit and inspection preparedness through accurate, timely EM record maintenance and documentation
• Participate in EM trend analysis, CAPA initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen overall program effectiveness
• Adapt readily to evolving shift schedules, suite assignments, and priorities driven by production and business demands
• Champion a team culture grounded in collaboration, safety, and an unwavering commitment to quality

• Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50,000.00 - $86,000.00
• For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $56,000 - $94,000 USD.
• This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
