Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an Environmental Monitoring professional in Los Angeles to conduct sampling across ISO-classified cleanrooms and to operate, maintain, and calibrate EM instrumentation. You will support cleanroom qualification, process validation, and CAPA-driven improvements, while ensuring strict SOP adherence and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant environmental monitoring experience.
• Experience operating EM instrumentation in ISO-classified cleanroom environments.
• Familiarity with SOPs, work instructions, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring sampling across ISO-classified cleanrooms.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate EM instrumentation to keep equipment inspection-ready.
• Support cleanroom qualification, requalification, and process validation activities.
• Execute work in strict accordance with SOPs and procedural requirements.
• Maintain accurate EM records and documentation for audits and inspections.
• Participate in EM trend analysis and CAPA initiatives to improve program effectiveness.
• Adapt to evolving shift schedules, suite assignments, and business priorities.

About The Role

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring sampling — including air, surface, personnel, and water — across ISO-classified cleanroom environments
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate EM instrumentation, ensuring equipment is inspection-ready through consistent preventative maintenance practices
• Support cleanroom qualification, requalification, and process validation activities in alignment with regulatory and quality standards
• Execute all work in strict accordance with established SOPs, work instructions, and procedural requirements
• Contribute to audit and inspection preparedness through accurate, timely EM record maintenance and documentation
• Participate in EM trend analysis, CAPA initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen overall program effectiveness
• Adapt readily to evolving shift schedules, suite assignments, and priorities driven by production and business demands
• Champion a team culture grounded in collaboration, safety, and an unwavering commitment to quality

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50,000.00 - $86,000.00

For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $56,000 - $94,000 USD.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertain solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
