Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician III to maintain and repair games and equipment at our centers. You will apply expertise in electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics while ensuring safety, sanitation, and high guest satisfaction.

Expect hands-on maintenance, inventory care, and a culture that values teamwork. You will work on electronics and mechanical systems, manage tools, and participate in a friendly, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on guest experience and safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to lift up to 250 lbs and work on ladders.
• Strong guest-focused mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance.
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing the mechanic shop.

Job description

Job Description: At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech III specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Maintaining the business in the absence of the Technical Services Manager
• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age
• 2+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• General knowledge/skill set on the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
• Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
• Ability to perform work on ladders
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range: 12.25 - 17
