Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician to maintain our games, bowling equipment and arcade attractions, ensuring they operate safely and reliably for guests.

You will perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and help keep the mechanic shop and facility organized. On-the-job training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Guest-focused mindset.

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems supporting the business.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
• Ability to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Upholding safety and sanitation standards
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
• Paid on-the-job training!

Job Description

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age

• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices

• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
