Job summary

Alcon Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Technician II in Fort Worth, TX, to support sterile production operations. You will operate autoclaves, ovens, stills, and sterile filling equipment, handling raw materials and finished products while maintaining GMP-compliant records and documentation.

Work on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:15 AM–1:45 PM CST) onsite at the North Fort Worth facility. The role requires a High School Diploma and basic English communication; relocation sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and QA.
• Aseptic skills and GMP awareness are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products per GMP.
• Operate autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration and sterile filling equipment.
• Handle raw materials and finished products; maintain records.
• Follow SOPs and participate in quality checks; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Adhere to GxP regulations and complete required training; support continuous improvement.

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

Technician II, Sterile Production Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for performing technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products. You will operate manufacturing equipment, handle raw materials and finished products, and perform general maintenance, all while ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining product quality at the NORTH Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.

Specifics include:

• Perform technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements
• Operate manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment
• Handle raw materials and finished products
• Perform general maintenance
• Follow standard operating procedures, maintain records, and participate in quality checks
• Inspect products, address deviations and issues promptly, and maintain accurate and complete documentation to ensure compliance with GMP requirements and rigorous quality control
• All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
• Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization
• Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations
