Technician II - Power - Benicia, CA

We are seeking a Technician II with experience in power generators to join our team in Benicia, CA. The role involves performing inspection, maintenance, and repair of generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.

Must-Haves

• High school diploma/GED
• 4+ years of experience working on commercial generators, including inspection, maintenance, and repair
• Experience in commercial/industrial generators
• Willingness to work in both shop and field environments

Nice-To-Haves

• Multiskilled technician in Power and HVAC

Additional Information

This position is based out of our Benicia, CA service center. You will work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle. Opportunities for overtime, weekend work, and travel are available.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment failures at the shop and on customer sites, setting up and operating equipment, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs.

Required Skills and Experience

• High School diploma/GED
• 4-6 years of experience with HVAC equipment and power generators
• Ability to read schematics and calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
• Possibility to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Ability to lift objects less than 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license
