As a Technician II Packaging, 2nd Shift, you will be trusted to the setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging equipment within the North Manufacturing facility at Fort Worth, Texas. (US).In this role, a typical day will include:
- Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
- Completes the batch records and associated documentation.
- Works in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment.
- Performs tasks in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
- Performs tasks in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling.
- Monitors, evaluates and adjusts processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday from 3:30pm - 12:00 midnight (overtime required as needed)
