Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and drive controls.
• Participate in general maintenance duties as assigned.

Location: CommScope, Catawba, NC Site

Position: Technician II, Maintenance (2 openings available)

Shift: 4x4 Night Shift (Team to be Determined). Night Shift Premium available! 12-hour days with overtime paid over 8 hours.

Job Overview

How You'll Help Us Connect the World: Responsible for performing diversified duties to install, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and maintenance systems. Tasks include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs, AC/DC drives, motor, and drive controls. Also, participate in general maintenance duties as advised by your supervisor.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automation equipment.
• Military experience and training considered in lieu of industrial experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Legacy PLCs, SLC, PLC5.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley Powerflex and Kinetix drives.
• Electrical certification or State electrical license preferred.
• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, or related fields.
