Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment in our centers. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance to keep attractions running safely and smoothly.

You will work on ladders, handle equipment up to 250 lbs, follow OSHA safety practices, maintain inventory, and collaborate with team members and management. Paid on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

  • General repair and maintenance knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair arcade games and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Welcomes guests and acts as a FUN ambassador.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, and pinsetters.
  • Disassemble, replace, and repair components such as bearings, coils, and wiring.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
  • Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
  • Receive paid on-the-job training.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?
  • Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
  • Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
  • Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
  • Paid on-the-job training!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 18+ years of age 1+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games
  • Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
  • Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
  • Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
  • Ability to perform work on ladders
  • Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
  • Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
  • Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range: 7.25 - 16
