Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Technician II for a 6-month assignment in Coralville, IA to perform manufacturing tasks that transform raw materials into finished products. The role requires handling hazardous chemicals and operating lab instruments per SOPs and company policies.

Expected duties include product decontamination, transfers, and supporting daily operations by reviewing data and recommending process improvements.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma with 2+ years of chemical handling and chemical processing experience OR associate’s OR bachelor’s degree is Required!
• Comfortability wearing a respirator is Required!
• Experience mixing and formulating chemicals in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is Required!
• Basic chemistry and math skills, including unit conversions and pH adjustments, are Preferred!
• The ability to frequently handle up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle up to 100 pounds is Preferred!
• Experience handling and disposing of hazardous chemical waste is Preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into finished products.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Coralville, IA 52241. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

• Pay: $27.64/hr to Start!!
• 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Friday – Sunday 6pm to 6:30am
• Position will be mainly responsible for performing manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into finished products.
• Position will also perform product decontamination, product transfers, and maintenance-related software connections.
• Position will operate laboratory instruments according to established work instructions, SOPs, and company policies and procedures.
• Position will also support daily manufacturing operations by reviewing data, identifying problems, and recommending corrective actions or process improvements.
