Job summary

Main Event Avon is seeking a Technician II to keep our games and entertainment options running smoothly. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support the center’s equipment and systems while focusing on safety and sanitation.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with arcade or bowling equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with ladders and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ years of general knowledge in repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork.
• Ability to troubleshoot and learn multiple systems.
• Ability to lift up to 250 lbs and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Maintain inventory records and organize the mechanic shop and facility.

As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few.
