Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair arcade games and entertainment systems. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance to ensure safety and proper operation, while engaging guests as a FUN ambassador.

The role requires effective problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to work with ladders and equipment up to 250 lbs. On-the-job training is provided, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of repair and maintenance experience on arcade games or automated equipment
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics is desirable
• Ability to learn and use multiple business systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the center
• Welcome guests and serve as a FUN ambassador
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance on games and equipment
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble and repair mechanical and electrical components
• Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean

Technician II | Atlanta, GA | $250 Sign-On Bonus

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)


• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!


• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)


• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.


• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring


• Maintaining accurate inventory records


• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed


• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility


• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age


• 1+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games


• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)


• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)


• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills


• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business


• Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics


• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work


• Ability to perform work on ladders


• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.


• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices


• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment


• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests


• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
