Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Oklahoma City is seeking a Technician III to maintain and repair arcade games, bowling equipment, and related systems. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

You will troubleshoot, disassemble/replace components, manage inventory, and order supplies. A strong guest-focused attitude and teamwork are required; on-the-job training is provided to help you grow in a dynamic, fun-focused

Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age.
  • 2+ years of repair/maintenance knowledge of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
  • Ability to work with guests as a FUN ambassador.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Learn and utilize multiple business-supporting systems.
  • Experience with electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Basic use of hand tools and safety equipment.
  • Able to work on ladders and lift equipment up to 250 lbs.
  • Familiar with OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Welcome and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, and pinsetters.
  • Disassemble/repair mechanical and electrical components.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
  • Keep the mechanic shop and facility clean and organized.
  • Provide coverage in the absence of the Technical Services Manager.
  • Paid on‑the‑job training.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech III specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?
  • Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
  • Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
  • Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
  • Maintaining the business in the absence of the Technical Services Manager
  • Paid on-the-job training!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 18+ years of age
  • 2+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
  • Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
  • Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
  • General knowledge/skill set on the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
  • Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
  • Ability to perform work on ladders
  • Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
  • Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
  • Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
