Job Description

Position Overview:Maintains production equipment through routine repairs and PM execution. The equipment consists of automated high-speed industrial food manufacturing equipment, and the skills needed include good mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and working at pace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work safely with programs such as lockout/tagout (LOTO).
  • Equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance (PM) work, overhaul, and repair.
  • Use of shop tools, including cutting, grinding, drill press, welding, and minimal machining.
  • Perform work (if qualified) on electric motors and controls.
  • Work with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to perform work orders, document work, and order parts.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and prints.
  • Ability to perform duties outside and inside in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold and wet, and/or humid conditions, etc.
The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Technical college education or equivalent 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing-related field preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Support management decisions, talk positively, and encourage a happy environment.
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures as outlined by Monogram Foods.
  • Be knowledgeable of your department's safe food handling practices, HACCP, and quality control procedures.
  • You must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Compentencies and Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bi-Lingual a plus- English/Spanish

  • This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.
