Job Summary: The Bond Lab Technician is responsible for bonding or debonding sputtering targets and backing plates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Follow all appropriate procedures (bonding, cleaning, etc.)
  2. Clean targets and backing plates
  3. Clean bonded assemblies
  4. Maintain bonding and cleaning records and all necessary paperwork
  5. Maintain training documents
  6. Operate hot plates, ion plater, and all hand tools used
  7. Perform complex metallic and epoxy bonds
  8. Read drawings
  9. Maintain supplies needed for target finishing and bond lab
  10. Understand all functions of target finishing and bond lab
  11. Perform SAP transactions
  12. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
  13. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
  14. Work under supervision
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of industrial training and 3-12 months related experience to familiarize with equipment and processes.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stand; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; walk; talk; hear; lift/move up to 45 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs team lift occasionally; specific vision abilities include close vision. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Additional Information:

Pay Range: $19.65 - $27.70. Actual salary varies based on skills, experience, education, location, etc.

Employment contingent on export compliance eligibility under U.S. regulations. Candidate must qualify as U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other approved status. Export license approval may be required.
