SUMMARY

The Technician I, R&E is responsible for effectively performing R&E routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C, and D checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Detailed knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
  2. Understand engineering methodology for systems installations.
  3. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  1. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required.
  2. Must have a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training.
  3. 3 years previous experience required.
  4. FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, FCC license, or repairman certificate.
  5. Computer keypunch experience.
  6. Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
