Modesto City Schools seeks a detail‑oriented clerical associate for a one‑year assignment. The candidate should have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical tasks, plus a high school credential and a typing certificate showing 35 wpm.

A valid CA driver’s license is required, and applicants may need a DMV printout within five work days of offer. Spanish/bilingual abilities are preferred for this position.

One (1) year accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, secretarial experience performing basic work tasks; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate. Modesto City Schools clerical assessment or typing certificate evidencing an ability to keyboard at a net rate of 35 words per minute. Valid CA Drivers' License. Must provide a DMV printout within five (5) work days of offer of employment. Spanish/Bilingual preferred.
