Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker in West Virginia to keep the property clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role involves outdoor upkeep, equipment operation, and routine maintenance tasks across seasons.

Responsibilities include landscape maintenance, snow/ice removal, and assisting team members with duties. A high school diploma is required and a valid driver's license plus WV Racing license may be needed for operations. This is a physically demanding on-site role.

Qualifications

• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task.
• Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required.
• Time management & priority setting and work independently.
• Troubleshooting & problem solving
• Knowledge of OSHA required standards.
• Life safety equipment and systems
• Knowledge on how to but not limited to the operation of scissor lifts, bucket truck, forklift, ladders, hand/power tools, etc.
• You must be at least 21 years old
• Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered under Mountaineer Casino Insurance for driving our vehicles.
• You must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Trackside Facilities Manager then to the Director of Maintenance.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• You will need to be able Sitting/Standing, Lifting, Kneeling, Bending, Walking/Stretching, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing/Reaching for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
