Position Summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs within deadlines, and training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

What You'll Do

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, documenting all required information accurately.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in maintenance trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program or a related trade license.
• Proficiency in intermediate word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
