Job description
Perform rack installations of VCS systems, including communication components, coax, connectors, grounding hardware, cable supports, splitters, fiber optic cables, CAT6 cabling, power distribution components, and other communication subassemblies. - Read, interpret, and follow system wiring diagrams, routing drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and configuration documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Route, label, terminate, and secure all cable connections (data, fiber, power, grounding) according to project specifications and applicable to regulated industry standards.
Follow company industry standard installation procedures.
Use hand and power tools such as crimpers, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, digital multimeters, label makers, laptops, and material handling equipment.
Maintain organized workstations and apply LEAN practices into daily work including Kaizen Events, A3 Documentation, 5S practices, One Piece Flow and others.
Complete required documentation, including as built records, cable logs, quality checklists, and configuration control updates.
