Job summary

Bally's Dover at 1131 N Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901, USA, is hiring for an Environmental Services position. You will operate floor machinery, clean and wax floors, assist guests, and maintain cleanliness of the casino floor while following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machinery such as Speed Scrubber, Floor Buffer and Carpet Extractors.
• Prepare and wax tile floors.
• Operate and maintain floor machinery.
• Enhance guest experience by providing exceptional service.
• Clean floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo); spot clean as necessary.
• Monitor ash/trash containers, clean and remove trash as necessary.
• Clean slot bases/machines; push in slot chairs.
• Greets and interacts with guests when appropriate.
• Use cleaning chemicals as instructed.
• Use safety equipment as required.
• Communicate all maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Collect and secure lost-and-found articles.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Dover Downs employees for cooperation and guest service.
• Adhere to department and property policies and procedures.
• Represent Dover Downs Hotel and Casino positively with guests, co-workers, managers and vendors.
• Control inventory of supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of the property.
• Suggest improvements to increase guest satisfaction and reduce costs.
• Work safely following safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
• Comply with recycling program standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, as well as reducing costs.

• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
• Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Performs other duties as assigned.
