Job summary

Bob Johnson Cadillac in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced General Motors Automotive Technician to join a team‑oriented shop. This flat‑rate position offers $5,000 annual bonus and competitive pay based on experience.

You will diagnose and repair GM vehicles, perform maintenance and warranty work, document findings clearly, and communicate with advisors and other technicians. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least two years of GM flat-rate technician experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing GM vehicles (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac).
• GM certifications and ASE certifications are valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GM vehicles according to manufacturer procedures.
• Perform maintenance, electrical, drivability, mechanical, and warranty repairs.
• Document findings and repairs clearly; communicate with advisors, parts, dispatch, and fellow technicians.
• Maintain productivity while protecting repair quality.
• Help prevent comebacks by taking ownership of every repair.
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday; Saturday rotation required.
