Job summary

Renova One is seeking a Field Services Technician to support refinishing, restoration, carpet cleaning, and related branch needs across single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties.

You will collaborate with teams to prepare surfaces, apply coatings, inspect work, and ensure safety and quality while traveling between job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, remodeling, restoration, painting, flooring, refinishing, coatings, warehouse operations, or similar hands-on trades preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, spray equipment, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface refinishing and resurfacing work, including preparation, repairs, coating application, and finishing
• Complete restoration-related services and assist with restoration projects as assigned
• Support carpet cleaning services and other specialty cleaning projects as needed
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, repairing, and performing other necessary prep work
• Apply coatings, primers, sealers, and finishes using appropriate tools and equipment
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and make corrections as needed
• Operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and effectively
• Support warehouse operations, including inventory management, material handling, loading/unloading, material cutting, and distribution
• Assist with deliveries and transportation of materials, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and time worked
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Crosstrain and provide support across all service lines based on business needs

JOB SUMMARY:

The Technician, Field Services at Renova One is responsible for supporting multiple service lines across single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties. This position primarily focuses on refinishing and restoration services while also assisting with carpet cleaning, warehouse operations, deliveries, and other branch needs as required. The ideal candidate has a construction, painting, restoration, flooring, warehouse, or general labor background and is comfortable learning multiple trades. This is a hands‑on role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in construction, remodeling, restoration, painting, flooring, refinishing, coatings, warehouse operations, or another hands‑on trade preferred
• Experience with surface preparation, repairs, painting, coatings, restoration, or similar work is beneficial but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new techniques and processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, spray equipment, and other job‑related equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and at various customer locations
• Flexibility to travel between job sites as needed
• Willingness to support multiple service lines and adapt to changing business needs
