Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC in Englewood, CO is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks, troubleshoot issues, and keep services running without interruptions. You will install, configure equipment, and work with customers to ensure understanding.

The role requires being 18+, valid US work authorization, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Technician Fiber Installation is $24.00 - $26.00.
