Job summary

Walmart seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair building systems at our Lewisburg facility. You will interpret technical documentation, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues to ensure optimal operation and safety.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.
• Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling-equipment, or related trades.
• Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants.
• Commercial driving record with no major convictions in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, control components, and related building equipment following documentation and codes.
• Configure and calibrate building automation systems and direct digital controls.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure operation and reduce downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, parts usage, and work orders using digital tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA) and company policies during service activities.
• Communicate with facility operators and management regarding service needs.
• Join on-call rotations and manage service calls within assigned regions.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation to ensure accurate installations.
• Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation and direct digital control systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities for HVAC equipment and facility systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and adherence to safety protocols during all service activities.
• Proficient in performing preventive maintenance and system inspections to optimize equipment performance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with facility operators and management.
• Competence in using digital tools for work order management, scheduling, and documentation.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
