Job summary

Team members apply expertise in HVAC controls, refrigerant management, and equipment repair while adhering to safety and environmental standards. This group fosters a professional environment centered on continuous improvement, clear communication, and reliable service delivery to support facility operations and meet business needs efficiently.

  • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment and facility systems.
  • Proficiency in multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
  • Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and powered equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinating with contractors.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills to diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to support operational priorities and continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
  • Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
  • Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
  • No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
  • No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.

  • Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
