Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Technician – Entertainment AV to operate all AV systems and equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to policies in a dynamic hospitality setting.

This role requires 1 year AV experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays; strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma.
• 1 year of experience with audio visual and equipment.
• Working knowledge of Computer based image projection in a Hospitality/Meeting room environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Provide ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technology and processes to ensure The Venetian Resort’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
• Adhere to the department’s strict operating guidelines while maintaining a positive attitude in a consistently changing environment.
• Assess, evaluate and review technical operation for the purposes of organizing the repair or troubleshooting of potential repair, and/or providing direction on work, tasks or processes in accordance with company guidelines.
• Arrange timeline to complete tasks and department assignments or projects, and meet the deadlines related to those assignments.
• Evaluate information to render an opinion or take action based on that information that will impact the department or function.
• Possess skills to hasten resolution, assess course of action, and implement or take action based upon findings.
• Direct others in completion of a task or assignment.
• Render advice, and provide expertise or judgment based on information gathered, studied, analyzed or reviewed.

Minimum Qualifications
